Founded by Senior Sound Designer Corry Young, Haar Audio is deeply rooted in the Scottish game development scene. Originally from Dundee (a historic hub of UK games) Corry’s journey began with a foundation in music and sound engineering before specializing in game audio at Abertay University.

With over six years of in-house experience across AAA and indie development, Haar Audio was built on a proven track record. Corry’s career includes formative years working in-house at The Chinese Room in Brighton, moving internally within the Sumo Digital family to Sumo Newcastle, and stepping up to lead audio on Junkster at Stormcloud Games.

Having worked up from an audio intern to a Senior Sound Designer, Corry created Haar Audio to bring that in-house, AAA-level expertise to studios as a dedicated external partner. We understand the realities and technical pipelines of game development from the inside out.
